Andrea Macias, Staff Writer

The 80s was a fascinating time in the music industry. Great music artists like Madonna, Rick James, Queen, and Alice Cooper thrived during this age. These artists all contributed to revolutionizing music. Some artists that stood out during this era were Tears for Fears, A Flock of Seagulls, and Cyndi Lauper.

In the year 1985, Tears for Fears released “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”.  This song is about the quest for domination and its adverse consequences.
