No Answer

The boy arrives at a town. He first asks where the grotto is. “Who are you, so young, and asking where the grotto is?” The boy receives no response from the people in town. After all his travels, he must rest his body. The day after tomorrow, he will depart once more. Will his heart be big enough to survive?

Onward Journey

The boy has been up the tallest hills and the deepest ravines, when he encounters a dying man. The man has run away from the beast. He would’ve almost had his life taken if the boy never arrived. That boy, who has seen many, many things, will still help those who are in need.

Story

The man thanks the boy for his heroism. He tells the boy his tale of his deadly encounter. The beast ravaged another village for food, and the boy had enough. The man has spoken where the grotto is, and the boy heads off toward the grotto. He has become determined to slay the beast.

Grotto

The boy arrived at the grotto. The putrid scent within the grotto is capable of knocking out any man, but the boy stands unfazed. The beast comes out of his cave to begin a stare down between him and the boy. The beast sees a strange determination from the boy, and is pleased to meet a worthy foe.

Struggle

The boy takes his knife from his belt to his hand, and is ready to fight. The beast stays vigilat, for his doom will soon come. As the beast charges at the boy, he watches the boy’s careful movements, and how he mounts his back. The boy stabs his knife at the beast.

Victory

The beast feels a cold shiver. He knows he has succumbed to death. Standing proudly over the beast, the boy comes out victorious. His actions will turn him into a legend. As he walks back home, he arrives at the places he visited, and they celebrate his victory.

Home

After the town’s celebration of his victory, he heads home. He recollects all of his achievements, and remembers everybody he has met. He thinks about the beast, and how his ravenous era is over. All while clutching his toys, he heads home. A faint, muffled yell, the boy’s mother calls; it is time for dinner!
