Question: Do you have any regrets referring HMSA?

I regret slacking off in the first semester of sophomore year. I never went to tutoring for chemistry even though I was struggling in the class. During second semester, I had to work hard and keep my grade up or else I would have to make up the class during the summer. If you’re ever struggling in a class attend tutoring, it makes a huge difference.

Future Major: I want to major in sociology because I either want to work in human services or education. I want to become a social worker or a teacher. Sociology is a great major since it has various fields and you’re not constricted to only one single field.

Background story as a freshman at HMSA: Freshman year now seems like a blur, but one thing I can remember clearly was how scared I was to get a log entry. I’d always do my homework and study a lot for tests in order to avoid log entries. Freshman year was definitely difficult because I wasn’t used to the long classes and the amount of homework given, but it’s made me a better student. As a freshman, you meet a lot of new people who’ll become one of your best friends.
