“I want a president who will protect my freedom of speech. We live in a time where political correctness stops us from having truthful discussions. Political correctness is suppose to avoid words or ideas that might offend a certain group of people. Because the truth might be offensive to others, people will try to shut down the idea. Ben Shapiro once said, ‘[the] facts don’t care about your feelings.’ This is true. In order to solve a problem we must first identity the problem no matter if people’s feelings get hurt. Freedom of speech does not gives us an excuse to use vulgar language. Obviously we should be respectful when we discuss different topics. The second we adhere to political correctness, we can lose our freedom of speech. Social Justice Warriors claim to be for freedom of speech but protest those who have an different opinions. Because freedom of speech was important to the people, it was made our first amendment in the Constitution.  Our next president has to protect freedom of speech.”  ~Mark R.
