Being a parent is hard. Being a new parent and a celebrity at the same time is even harder. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are new to the parenting world. On April 14th Chrissy gave birth to their first daughter, Luna Simone.

For those of you who may not know much about John Legend, he is a singer/songwriter. He’s known for his song “All of Me,” A sweet love song that’s been playing on the radios for months. He’s also married to supermodel Chrissy Teigen. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the couple, they are basically Jay-Z and Beyonce, just not as overrated. John is more of a quiet guy that seems to be really sweet. His wife on the other hand is the total opposite. She’s hilarious, sarcastic, outgoing, and has a special love for food. She’s the total opposite of what you’d expect a supermodel to be. Together the two are total opposites, but opposites attract right?

The world had been waiting for their baby the moment they announced Chrissy’s pregnancy, and now she’s finally here. Days after giving birth, the couple shared pictures of baby Luna on Instagram and on Twitter. Everyone fell in love at once. Fans everywhere can’t wait for the baby to grow up to see who she takes from. Since the first post, Chrissy has posted multiple photos with Luna, and everyone just can’t get enough.

Almost a week later, Chrissy and John went out to dinner. But who were they missing? You guessed it, Luna. After hearing about this dinner date, Twitter and Instagram fans were outraged. Many were mad and confused as to why Chrissy would leave her daughter at home one week after she gave birth. A fan even tweeted her saying, “Who would you even trust with your one week old baby?” Chrissy, not expecting this type of backlash, took to Twitter with her great humor.

Although frustrated with what people were saying about it, Chrissy used sarcasm and her wit to reply to fans and to others who were bashing her.

Despite what others seem to be saying, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend seem to be doing great as parents. From another perspective, we can’t really blame Chrissy and John for going out.
