The Justin Bieber Dilemma
If you haven’t heard, Justin Bieber began his Purpose tour on March 9th. Along with regular tickets, many fans were given the option of buying VIP tickets or a meet and greet. Many fans around the world bought meet and greet tickets in hopes of finally meeting their idol. Sadly though, Justin has cancelled all future meet and greets for his tour.
For those of you who may not know Justin Bieber, he’s a famous Canadian pop singer. He started his career off on Youtube and created his debut album in 2009. Since then he’s been on many tours, won many awards, and of course, gotten into trouble. In 2014, he got into trouble with the cops for driving under the influence. Since then though, Bieber has cleaned up his act and is back in the music industry. Bieber also had a two year hiatus. Before Purpose was released in November of last year, his latest album was titled “Journals” and was released in December of 2013. Fans around the world were happy with his comeback into the industry and were surprised by his new music.

Purpose tour started on March 9th, and is expected to end on November 29, 2016. Along with this tour hundreds of meet and greets were scheduled for Bieber. But recently, Bieber cancelled all of these meet and greets. According to his own Instagram post, Bieber said that “[he] end[s] up so drained and unhappy”. (You can read the full post below!) Many fans accept and understand the reason why Bieber cancelled future meet and greets. You should always put your happiness first before others. But this isn’t what angered the fans. What angered the fans is the fact that they paid more than $2,000 for a meet and greet and can’t get it refunded. The only way to get all your money back is if you give up everything, including the ticket. So Beliebers are left with all or nothing. Beliebers are angered. Some have chosen to give it up completely, choosing to get $2,000 dollars back, while others chose to stay with the rest of the package, even though they’re missing the most important part- the meet and greet.
As seen with the link below, a solution management came up with is allowing fans to take a picture with his cardboard cutout.
