Why You Should Join Harmony Project

Harmony Project is a nonprofit organization that promotes positive youth development to high need areas through year-round music lessons and orchestra participation.

Harmony Project provides students K-12 with continuous, high quality music instruction. Learning to play an instrument takes patience, persistence, and focus, the same qualities students need to excel in school and in their future career. The reason why I recommend Harmony Project is because it uses the transformative power of music to open up life-changing experiences to students in underserved communities and seeks to maximize their opportunities for success.

Based on my experience, it’s a whole new world there. There are amazing staff (although the teacher you get depends on the instrument you play), and you’ll make a ton of friends there. There are recitals (shows) every once in a while, and it’s an amazing experience. I hope to see you at the Harmony Project.
