Fellow Aviators who grew up watching That’s So Raven, rejoice! Raven Symone, the actress who plays Raven Baxter in the show, recently just confirmed that a spin-off is in the makes.

For those of you who didn’t watch That’s So Raven, you’re probably wondering what all this hype is about. For starters, That’s So Raven was one of the shows most popularly watched. It aired from 2003 to 2007. It follows the life of a high school student, Raven Baxter who has visions of the future. She’s followed by her two best friends, Chelsea and Eddie. Using her special power, Raven and her friends try to change everyday events and outcomes, which don’t necessarily end well. Her younger brother, Cory, is a little schemer who sometimes tries to use Raven to see the outcomes of events that will benefit him. Together, the four are always getting themselves in and out of messes. Also, when thinking of That’s So Raven, you can’t help but sing along to the catchy, yet iconic theme song.

What will the show be about? According to Symone, the show is about her, a divorced mother with two kids. One of her kids has inherited her trait to see into the future. This spin-off does not have an official title yet and the kids of Raven have not been cast. Symone will be leaving her position as a host in The View to work with Disney Channel on more aspects of the show. Disney Channel isn’t new to the world of spin-offs. In 2014, they released a spin-off titled Girl Meets World, which follows the lives of the kids from the characters of Boy Meets World. The launch of this spin-off has met a lot of success, and is going for a renewal for it’s fourth season. Hopefully, this spin-off of That’s So Raven is successful.
