Pouring Love

Love is much more than holding hands. Much more than being with somebody. More than even saying “I love you.” I didn’t realize it until I accepted your love and started loving you. Love was foreign to me, and without realizing it, you showed me what it meant.

You showed me who I’m supposed to be. You helped me out of the darkest times of my life. You were there for me even when I wasn’t there with you. You showed me that love is sacrificial. You sacrificed yourself just so that I can be with you. Each moment in life I go through, you remind me that I don’t go through it alone, but with you. 

Because of your love, I can love myself. Because of your love, I can love others. 

Because of your love, I love you.
