Humans of HMSA: Mr. Atanga
“I don’t know. If I answer this question, it isn’t small. The reason why it’s hard is, because I didn’t want to become a chemistry teacher. I wanted to become a medical doctor. Actually I was admitted to medical school in Nigeria, but I had no money–my family had no money. I had to help people and if I can’t become a doctor, I should be a teacher. I was actually a physics teacher first, then I was a chemistry teacher. But that’s why I am a chemistry teacher.”
