Humans Of HMSA: Mifrah K.
“Hi friends! My name is Mifrah Khan and I’m currently a junior at HMSA. Many people may say it’s the best year ever but I disagree with that. The stress of finals, midterms, homework, and projects is not enough. Many juniors, including myself, have to take the ACT and SAT tests as well. It’s time to study hard for those tests and not play video games. Now don’t think junior year is just all about stress, it’s also somewhat fun. Last week on February 18, juniors went on a field trip to UC San Diego. It may have been a long bus ride, but it was worth it because we went under the Sun God, who gives you an A on your next final. Shout out to Sun God in advance if I do get an A. I could only get an A on a test if I actually go to tutoring and get help. At least three times a week, I stay after school to get tutoring help on homework for physics and math. One advice I would give out to the underclassmen is do your community service hours as soon as possible and start studying for the big tests coming up soon. It may seem like you have a long time, but remember “due dates are closer than they appear” (Ms. Siegler’s podium). Good luck to everyone at HMSA and I will go back to doing my homework now, adios!”
