An Actor Saves a Life
If you were in front of your house and you saw a truck on fire, would you help the person in it? Would you call for help, or would you save time and save the person yourself? How about you think about that.
On January 29, 2016, it was reported that Oscar-winning actor, Jamie Foxx saved someone’s life! According to ABC News, the burning truck was right in front of his home! The driver was driving and lost control of the vehicle because he was very intoxicated. He could not get out of the truck because his seatbelt restrained him.
Therefore, Foxx goes through the window to get him out. He says,”An EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) hits the window, clears the glass, and I climb in. I got scissors from him, cut the seatbelt and as we pulled him out, within five seconds the truck blew up.” The father of the victim then shows up, in tears. He states that the tears are tears of joy.
“It doesn’t matter to me who it was or what they do for a living,” says the father of the victim.
In response Jamie Foxx says, ”I don’t look at it as heroic.” Either way, the family of the victim is grateful that someone took the time to save their loved one. The victim is currently recovering in the hospital. We’re wishing him a fast recovery and we thank Mr. Jamie Foxx on his behalf.
