We’ve all felt that anxiety. You’re in class, taking notes, just existing and vibing to a catchy toon when your mic suddenly unmutes and the teacher calls you out in front of the whole class. And if it hasn’t happened to you, then you’ve seen it happen to others and experienced that second-hand embarrassment.

It’s not the most fun thing in the world to feel.

So it never hurts to doubt check you’re settings. Sure, you joined the class muted and made sure it was muted, but these mics have a mind of their own and I wouldn’t be surprised if they began to perform some internet jujitsu to catch you in the act (the act being singing a song horribly and loudly or whatever weird conversation that’s happening in the background) and expose you for your class to see.
