No Paparazzi!!

Celebrities have to be careful about what they say or do because their “private” lives are not private at all. Wherever celebrities go, paparazzi is always there. Just them stepping out of their homes is a major risk for ambushes. I realize that they did sign up for this, but their private lives should remain private.

As much as they might love the limelight, they still want privacy. There’s a difference between an event filled with paparazzi and at home with photographers hiding in the bushes.

As a student, I would not like to know that I am constantly being watched by the school’s yearbook photographers when I’m at home. If I’m at school, then go ahead and snap as many pictures as you want because I’m on your turf. There are certain boundaries that should not be crossed and I’m pretty sure crouching in the bushes is one of them.

Going back to celebrities, it is bad enough that these pictures are taken, but what’s worse is that the photos are being shared around. I get it; seeing celebrities without makeup or horrible makeup can be pretty funny, but I know I wouldn’t want anyone seeing me with horrible wing eyeliner. Think about it, don’t you like to always be picture ready.

So, next time you decide you want to share, re-tweet, or even show a friend a celebrity’s embarrassing photo, imagine how you would feel if everyone around the world was spreading around your embarrassing pictures to laugh at.
