Teen Wolf fans, have you heard the great news? Crystal Reed, the actress who played our beloved Allison Argent will be making a guest appearance on Teen Wolf! The show director, Jeff Davis and Crystal Reed herself announced the news yesterday.

For those who don’t know the story of Teen Wolf and the importance of Allison Argent, here is a quick summary. Teen Wolf starts off with a boy named Scott McCall (played by Tyler Posey) who was bitten by a wolf in his freshman year. Insert Stiles Stilinski (played by Dylan O’Brien), Scott’s normal, nerdy human best friend. Throughout seasons 1-5 Scott, Stiles, and his pack try to protect Beacon Hills from the supernatural. This is where Allison Argent comes in. Allison Argent (played by Crystal Reed) is all types of hardcore, sassy, and independent. She also comes from a family of wolf hunters. Combined with her equally sassy, and super genius best friend Lydia Martin (played by Holland Roden) the two girls make a deadly couple. Scott and Allison fall in love and get together despite the fact that Scott is a wolf and Allison is a wolf huntress. (WARNING: If you’re interested in watching Teen Wolf, a MAJOR spoiler is coming up!) In Season 3B, in the episode “Insatiable” Allison dies, trying to save her friends. The moments after her stabbing, Scott runs up and holds her. The next moments were real tearjerkers, I cried for almost 3 hours before I even accepted the fact that Allison Argent was gone and never to return again.

So why is Crystal’s return so important? First of all, Crystal Reed is coming back, but not to play as Allison Argent. She’s coming back to play Marie-Jeanne Valet, an ancestor of the Argent family. Using Marie’s history with the supernatural, the Beacon Hills pack is learning about her story on how to defeat the beast invading Beacon Hills. I know, we wanted her to come back as Scott’s first love, I’m pretty bummed out too. But as a Teen Wolf fan, and Crystal Reed supporter, I’m just glad that she’s back on the show. Junior Stephanie E., is also “very excited for her return.” Crystal Reed’s return is something that many people have been waiting for ever since her death.

Now, Crystal Reed is not the only person making another appearance on Teen Wolf. Another Argent is making his way back to Beacon Hills and into our hearts, and who else can it be? Why, it’s the one and only Chris Argent! Papa Argent disappeared for awhile, hunting down the supernatural in Mexico, but has now announced his return to the action taking place in Beacon Hills.

Seeing familiar faces once again on Teen Wolf is something bittersweet. Now, we just need Tyler Hoechlin and Colton Haynes to make an appearance, and the heart of Teen Wolf fans everywhere will be fulfilled.
